Welcome to the Hoosiers for Beverage Choices website. Thank you for visiting and for supporting our campaign to give Hoosiers a voice in moving Indiana’s alcoholic beverage laws into the 21st Century.

The goal of HBC is to update Indiana law to allow for:

1) The carry-out sale of alcoholic beverages on Sundays; and

2) The sale of cold beer at drug, grocery and convenience stores.

These long-overdue changes to Indiana law will allow for increased permit fees for alcohol retailers, with the proceeds used to fund alcohol awareness and education programs.

This website also provides you, the consumer, with facts about our coalition and current Indiana law regarding the sale of alcohol, and will eventually allow you to directly contact your elected officials and request sensible changes to Indiana’s outdated and antiquated liquor laws (this feature will be available in advance of the 2009 Legislative Session).
